HOA Boards

The residents serving on our Kings Crossing HOA Boards (Master, The Domain and Garden Court), their terms of service, their contact information and a general description of the positions they serve in are listed below:

Mike Barber,  President (Term Expires February 2026)
 
The President is the Chief Executive Officer of the association and represents the Board before the membership. He or she generally sets meeting agendas and presides at all meetings of the Board and membership. The President usually has the power to execute legal documents on behalf of the association. Finally, the President may have the right to either select or nominate committee chairs. The current President is also the liaison to the Security Committee.
 
 
 
 
 
Rudy Martinez, Vice President (Term Expires February 2025)
 
The Vice President performs all the duties of the President in his or her absence and typically shares some of the burden of the President. The Vice President is usually assigned as a liaison to outside agencies, specific staff or contractors.
 
 
 
 
Kenia Dimas, Treasurer (Term Expires February 2024)
 
The Treasurer works with appropriate staff, contractors, and committees to ensure that the annual operating budget is developed and submitted for Board or membership approval (whichever is required), and that the records of all association financial transactions and roster of delinquent accounts is maintained. The Treasurer recommends action regarding collections, receives and disburses funds as authorized, ensures the preparation of periodic financial reports, and authorizes an independent audit. If the association has a professional manager, the management company is likely the party to prepare the documents, but the Treasurer is ultimately responsible for them. The current Treasurer is also the liaison to the Finance Committee.
 
 
 
Harriet Lovin, Secretary (Term Expires February 2026)
 
The Secretary has responsibility for ensuring that Board and membership meeting agendas are prepared and distributed and that the Minutes and materials referred to in those Minutes are prepared. He or she also maintains, or makes sure the manager maintains, the Book of Resolutions and all official records, including official correspondence, contracts, and membership roster. The current Secretary is also the liaison to the Landscaping Committee.
 
 
 
 
Roman Escobar, Member-at-Large (Term Expires February 2024)
 
At-Large Board members frequently have an area of expertise that the Board needs; one of the duties of the At-Large member is to educate and help the Board stay on the right track while the members discuss the expansion.  An At-Large Board member may fill duties that do not fall under the scope of the officers or that the officers don’t have time to manage. These positions often head up committees and special projects. Or, they may research some aspect of association business. The current At-Large Board member is also the Chair of the Social Committee.
 
 
 
 
 
 

   
 
Garden Court Board
 
 
 
Bill Cary, President
(Term expires February 2024) 
 
The President serves as the senior officer of the Garden Court Homeowners Association and represents the Board  to the Membership. He or she normally sets meeting agendas and presides at all meetings of the Board and Membership. The President as prescribed, may execute legal documents on behalf of the Association. The President typically selects and/or nominates Committee chairs. Additionally, the President serves as the liaison to and represents the Garden Court Homeowners Association at the Kings Crossing Master Board.
 
 
 
 
 
Susan Majek, Vice President
(Term expires February 2025)
The Vice President performs all the duties of the President in his or her absence and shares the workload of the President. The Vice President is usually assigned as a liaison to outside agencies, specific staff, or contractors.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Bill Morris, Treasurer
(Term expires August 2025)
 
Bill MorrisThe Treasurer works with appropriate staff, contractors, the various Garden Court Committees, and the Master Board Finance Committee and Treasurer to ensure that the annual operating budget is developed and submitted for Board and/or Membership approval as required. The Treasurer ensures that the records of all Association financial transactions and roster of delinquent accounts is maintained. The Treasurer recommends collection actions, receives and disburses funds as authorized, ensures the preparation of periodic financial reports, and authorizes an independent audit. If the Master Association has a Manager, he or she is likely to prepare the documents, but the Treasurer is ultimately responsible for them. Finance Committee liaison.
 
 
 
 
Robert Morales, Secretary
(Term expires August 2024)
 
Susan MajekThe Secretary has the responsibility for ensuring that the Board and Membership meeting agendas are prepared and distributed and that the minutes and materials referred to in those minutes are prepared. He or she also maintains and/or ensures that the Manager maintains the Book of Resolutions and all official records, including the annual update to the Garden Court HOA Residents Directory.
 
 
 
 
 
Jeannie Miller, Member at Large
(Term expires Feb 2026)
 
At Large Board members frequently possess an area of expertise that the Board needs. The At Large Board member may fill duties that do not directly fall under the purview of the Officers. The At Large members often heads up Committees and Special Projects. Additionally, he or she may be tasked to research some particular aspect of Association business.
